Ladies!! We are having our first edition of the Women's Month Football tournament for you all and we couldn't be more excited about it!! A recreational tournament open to all members of our community! </br> <b>Details :</b> Day and Date - 26th March 2023, Sunday Venue - Skyturf, Inspire BKC Reporting time - 7:15am <b>This is an INDIVIDUAL REGISTRATION LINK</b> </br> <b>Match details :</b> - Format : 8mins- 2mins break - 8mins - Each team : 5+(2 subs) - League cum Knockout </br> <b>Read further for the FAQs of the tournament : </b> <b> Q1. What time will it end?</b> 10:30am is the Finals, followed by the Prize Distribution. </br> <b>Q2. What are the rules of the game?</b> • 5 v 5 • Rolling substitutions, with no limit to number of substitutions in a match • 8 mins each half, 2 mins half time (8-2-8) • No off-sides • Red/Yellow cards apply More details on the rules of the game will be shared soon. </br> <b> Q3. Will we get breaks in-between the matches?</b> Yes. You will be given a short break between matches to catch your breath and a snack. </br> <b>Q4. Will refreshments/food be provided?</b> Bananas and water will be available for all players. Request everyone to carry their own bottle of water to refill. However, feel free to carry a snack and beverage from home if you like. </br> <b> Q5. Who is eligible to participate?</b> Any girl/woman who is a member of our community. </br> <b>Q6. What if I haven’t ever played football before?</b> The level of this tournament is beginner to intermediate. We would recommend some very basic prior experience, at our SIS footy sessions, or elsewhere, at the very least. </br> <b>Q7. Do I register as an individual player?</b> Yes. You need to register for yourself only, on the website. We will put you in a team. </br> <b>Q8. What if I have a team, and all of us want to play together?</b> If you have a team already, or a handful of players that want to play together, please use the team registration link to register your team. </br> <b>Q9. Do I need any special equipment/attire?</b> We recommend the usual football attire for a safer and better playing experience i.e. jersey/sports top, shorts, football stockings, shin guards and football boots. Goalkeepers are encouraged to carry goalkeeper gloves. </br> <b>Q10. Will there be a changing room and wash room there?</b> Yes. </br> <b>Q11. Can I bring my family and friends to watch?</b> Absolutely! We encourage it! :) </br> <b>Q12. Can I bring a coach for our team, who can stand and guide us from the sideline?</b> Yes, as long as he/she doesn’t enter the field during play at any point or/disrupt the games of other teams. </br> <b>Q13. How will the teams receive any further communication, such as team colour, match schedule etc?</b> Once the teams are formed, Captains from each team will be our main point of contact for any further communication to the teams. The Captains will be responsible for creating their team’s whatsapp group and relaying all necessary information to their teams. </br> Hope that answers most of your questions ladies.
